イギリスへ留学している生徒からの報告が届きました
June.15th Monday rainy to sunny
Today,I was following Shreshtha all the time. We attended “English literature”, ” Math “, ” Japanese” , and “Economics”. Most of the classes were spent getting their exam papers back. At math class, luckily,I managed to get a rough idea of the content, because I’ve already studied it in Japan.
We introduced our school to the Japanese class. At the time when we said that there’re around six people per a time in the dorm,CLC students said “terrible”, “that’s bad”, I thought that might be one of the differences between our countries.
However, there were some things that were the same as Japanese JK,I felt. For example, when they screamed because of the exam results, and when they talked about annoying teachers, I felt that teenagers are the same everywhere.
June 18th
Tonight, I dreamed in English. I don’t remember the content clearly, but I’m sure that it was in ST.Hilda, and I talked to next-door students. I was so glad because it’s said that dreaming in a non-native tongue is a good sign that they are starting to pick up the language.
At the school, I joined the prayer the same as always today. It feels similar to Jiyugakuen, but the only difference is whether there’s time to read the Bible or not. In Jiyugakuenn, we read the Bible and the host speaks about the Bible, but in CLC we don’t have time to read the Bible so the hosts also don’t talk about it. Other than that, it feels similar. The host speaked about LGBTQ＋ today, I felt it’s like Jiyugakuenn’s Reihai too.
In addition, I went to the CLC library today. The looked was so nice, I liked the vibe so much. Many students were studying in it. I rented a mystery book that my buddy recommended. I’m not sure that I can finish reading until I leave, but I’ll try reading.
